Associate in Arts

In CAL, there are two (2) pre-baccalaureate associate programs: Associate in Arts (Theatre) offered by DSCTA and Asosyado sa Arte sa Malikhaing Pagsulat sa Filipino offered by DFPL. A freshman applicant to either of these programs need not be an UPCAT qualifier but must pass the admission requirements given by the offering department. Application to the AA (Theatre) and AA (Malikhaing Pagsulat sa Filipino) programs is made directly to DSCTA and DFPL, respectively.

Tungo sa paglilinang ng malikhaing pagsulat sa pambansang wikang Filipino ang pagbukas ng pandalawahang taong programang Asosyado sa Arte sa Malikhaing Pagsulat sa Filipino.

 

Layunin ng programa na mabigyan ang mga estudyante ng mga batayang konsepto kaugnay sa malikhaing pagpapahayag sa Filipino at kasanayan sa malikhaing pagsulat sa Filipino.

 

Maaaring magpatuloy ang mga nagtapos ng programa sa alinmang programang B.A. ng DFPP kung matamo ng estudyante ang kinakailangang General Weighted Average (GWA) at  matupad ang iba pang kahingian.

Associate in Arts (Theatre)

The Associate in Arts (Theatre) program is a craft-oriented program designed to train prospective theatre practitioners in the creative industries. 

 

Students enrolled in the AA (Theatre) program must complete a total of 75 units consisting of 18 units of GE courses, 24 units of core courses, 24 units of major Theatre courses, 6 units of non-Theatre elective courses, and 3 units of a legislated course.
