Margaret Faith Cao has been teaching French as a Foreign Language since 2012. Aside from her capacity as an assistant professor in UP Diliman, she is also closely involved in the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) of the Department of Education (DepEd) as one of the trainers of teachers of French in the selected high schools that offer French as a special curriculum. She was also part of the team that drafted the curriculum guides for SPFL-French. She is presently the president of the Association des Professeurs de Français aux Philippines.
