Clara López Pasarín is an Assistant Professorial Fellow of Spanish at UP Department of European Languages. She obtained a BA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Salamanca. She also holds a MA in Teacher Training for Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Language Teaching from the University of Alcalá and a MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Valencian International University.

She decided to become a language educator after her experience as a Spanish language and culture assistant in a high school in Germany and has been teaching in different educational contexts in Spain, Germany and the Philippines since then.

She teaches basic, intermediate and advanced language courses, oral communication, composition and contemporary Spanish culture and civilization. Her research interests include Foreign language Teaching and Learning and Intercultural communication.
