As part of the 16th Italian Language Week in the World Celebration, UP Piccola Italia celebrates the innovative creativity of the Italian film industry.

Cineforum Italiano is a free film screening of the much acclaimed Italian film, La Corona Spezzata (The Broken Crown), followed by an open forum to discuss and entertain questions about the film with special guest, Mr. Ruben Maria Soriquez, the director and executive producer of La Corona Spezzata.

Mr. Ruben Maria Soriquez is a multi-awarded Filipino-Italian film actor, director, producer, and filmmaker. Locally, he may also be widely known for his drama acting role as Roberto Marchesa, the adoptive father of Liza Soberano’s character, Serena, in the TV series “Dolce Amore”.
